About MedResearch Collective

The MedResearch Collective (MRC) is a student-led, mentor-supported initiative that connects motivated medical students and early-career researchers with experienced mentors.

We focus on structured, phase-based projects that help members learn research methods, produce publishable work, and build strong academic CVs.

Our community spans multiple countries and training levels, but we share one goal: to produce ethical, rigorous, and clinically meaningful research.

Our Impact

MRC projects are chosen for relevance to clinical practice, board exams, and high-impact topics, with the aim of generating work that contributes meaningfully to the medical community.

20+ Peer-Reviewed Publications

Published in cardiology, infectious diseases, dermatology, and more.

25+ Countries Represented

Students and doctors collaborating worldwide across multiple continents.

30,000+ Tracked Reads

Worldwide readership with actual reach likely far beyond formal metrics.

Comprehensive Training

Projects designed to teach literature review, data analysis, and scientific writing.

Clinical Relevance

Topics chosen for relevance to clinical practice, board exams, and high-impact research.

How Membership Works

Our structured approach ensures quality research output and meaningful learning experiences for all members.

STEP 1

Follow Our Updates

Interested members can stay informed about upcoming phases by following MRC on Instagram and LinkedIn.

STEP 2

Phase Announcements

When a phase opens, MRC posts the topics and guidelines.

STEP 3

Submit Your Abstract

Applicants send a short abstract following the provided rules and guidelines.

STEP 4

Screening & Selection

MRC screens abstracts for scientific relevance, adherence to instructions, responsible use of AI tools, and low plagiarism. Submissions with obvious AI-generated text or high plagiarism are rejected. Others may be wait-listed if mentor capacity is full.

STEP 5

Project Work & Mentorship

Selected members are added to project groups, work under mentors, and receive guidance on writing, referencing, and publication.

STEP 6

Manuscript Submission & Publication

Groups prepare a final manuscript targeting PubMed-/Scopus-indexed journals where possible.

Collaborate With Us

We welcome collaborations with journals, academic societies, universities, hospitals, and education platforms interested in student-driven, mentor-guided research.

Partnerships can include jointly-run special issues, student conferences, or structured research programs.
